More About Me
I started my creative journey as a trained milliner, selling hats. I then started to experiment with paper maché, and fencing wire sculptures.
But that wasn't enough for me. I was working as a Graphic Designer and in corporate marketing; and I was looking for ways to explore deep into the well of my being using art as a tool. I wanted to be able to tap into the unconscious and freely express myself using canvas as my portal for transformation. This longing to learn to visualise the unspoken word lead me to my Advance Diploma in Transpersonal Art Therapy. Through this period I discovered a technique called Touch Drawing, a process that uses my hands to create unseen images on tissue paper and evolving my art practice into mixed media.
Still wanting to learn more, I then completed teacher training in Intentional Creativity®. This introduced me to painting journey that allowed me to merge consciousness together to rewire the brain. I was working on canvas which was becoming an important element of the ritual of painting.
I am now completing my Certificate III in Visual Arts. This has taught me new 2D techniques and introduced me to the world of 3D art - Ceramics.
