This piece was an exploration about accessing my intuition. I use my hands to start the painting to open up the enquiry. I start the first layer creating a matrix of four different dripping colours to prepare the canvas (portal).
The first stroke of the brush being a love letter to myself. I choose bright colours to hear my true voice. Painting different shapes, coming around them with a small brush, to engage the left brain and to connect the synapses. With beliefs I wanted to change, I paint a knot and slowly interrupt, changing the brush movement and by allowing it to flow, changing the belief. Then, I paint symbols of change - three containers – heart, cup and body to have in my Apothecary. These containers I can tap into anytime and become a metaphor for future healing.
