Grounding

I started the piece by adding symbols/codes to the back of the canvas and then on the front as well. The code is a primitive language that just comes out through me onto the canvas. From there over the last 3 years, I’ve been painting this piece on and off. I use the power of symbols to put my dreams and desires onto the canvas and finally this year a tree of wisdom emerges. This is me, sitting rooting and connected to the earth. Gathering the wisdom of Mother nature as I med-itate. Tapping into the collective wisdom, rewiring my neuropathways as I paint a continuous line throughout the trunk and roots.
