Introducing my Muse. She was one of my early pieces using this style of painting of intentional strokes. My intention was for her to show me how to access her and live from my muse journey outwardly in my life and share my gifts. How to embody my muse and be seen in my creative muse and be my muse.
It was beautiful to dive into such a big canvas. I struggled with darks, lights and colour sometimes. Different colours on each side to represent the light and dark. Some symbols used were about freedom, self-love, community, being worthy, strength etc. She has a knowing shown by the turquoise paint. Small beings are painted to represent many elders, ancestors and guides watching over her. Her intuition is like a soft gold spray that travels through the mind. She is grounded by her body. Her amethyst sword allows her to cut away anything that is no longer hers. While painting her I had to release the story that ‘I think it’s so hard’. No longer making things hard and heavy, just colourful flow.
